Topliner Surpasses $30K MRR
Topliner has reached a significant milestone by achieving $30K in monthly recurring revenue (MRR). This growth comes as the company transitions from relying on Azure credits to sustaining itself with paying customers.

Looks like our @Azure credits are finally running out - those very same $50,000 from Microsoft for Startups that kept Topliner alive for the past year and a half since it was just an idea.
Honestly, it was almost a fairytale. Anyone could just apply and get up to $150k for infrastructure and AI models (including everything from @OpenAI) - no investors, no funds, no endless verification or bureaucracy. Just… take it and build.
We didn’t make it to the full amount - Microsoft changed the rules this summer, and now to get more than $5k you need backing from one of their partner funds. So yeah, the free ride’s over. But now that we’ve got paying customers and around $30k MRR, covering infra costs doesn’t hurt nearly as much :)
Still, huge thanks to them. Without those credits we wouldn’t have been able to run so many experiments and prototypes so freely. At some point it honestly felt kinda illegal - it was that easy.
