Deven announces that Supergrow has reached a significant milestone of 5-figure MRR. This achievement highlights the growth and sustainability of the business, allowing Deven to rely solely on the business for financial support.

December 13, 2025$10K MRR Milestone

Original Announcement

Everyone is indiehacking/bootstrapping these days, it seems.

But here's what nobody talks about.

We're at 5-figure MRR with Supergrow.
I don't touch my savings anymore.
The business pays for everything.

And I still panic when a customer churns at 11 PM.

The mental load never gets lighter.
It just shape-shifts.

Month 1: "Will anyone pay for this?"
Month 12: "Can we sustain this growth?"
Month 30: "What if our biggest customer leaves?"

No VC cushion.
No safety net.
Every decision compounds directly into survival or failure.

When we started, my goal was embarrassingly simple: Pay rent through the business.

We've 10x'd that goal. Built a team of 6. Serve thousands of customers.

But last Friday, when Cloudflare went down, and our app stopped working, I spiralled.
Couldn't sleep.
Forgot every win we've had.

That's the part they don't put in founder stories.

The 2 AM anxiety about cash flow when you need to pay yourself.
The Sunday scaries about Monday's metrics.
The way your girlfriend has to remind you that you're not actually failing.

I journal every week just to remember why we started this:

- Freedom.
- Not unicorn status.
- Building something sustainable.
- A good life for our team.
- Not just growth at all costs.

Here's what I'm learning at 2.5 years in:

The pressure doesn't disappear when you hit profitability. Or when you cross six figures. Or when customers start calling you "one of the best products in the market"

It just changes form.
You learn to function with it.
Some days, you even thrive on it.
But it's always there, humming in the background.

š€š§š š¦ššš²š›šž šš”ššš'š¬ šš”šž š©šØš¢š§š.

The pressure keeps us honest.

Forces us to focus on what actually matters
- revenue, customers, product
- instead of playing startup theatre.

Still grinding like it's day one.
Still uncertain about most things.
Still wouldn't trade it for anything else.

Because at least this anxiety is mine to own.
