This is my story. I quit my job in 2022
I was clueless & didn't know what to do
I was new to Twitter & building a SaaS at that time.
I turned this into my profile picture during a burnout that came with stress from my 9-5 job
At that time, I knew for sure that I had to get financial freedom to work on my own terms
I was just a software engineer with no business background
So I launched 3 online businesses with a cofounder
I made a lot of mistakes like
- trying to grow to 10,000+ users without plans to monetize
- thinking of raising funds over getting to profitability
The result was severe burnout and the cofounder leaving out of frustration
Now at my absolute bottom in 2023, I was determined to launch a SaaS and aim for getting money from day 1
That's when I built famewall .io and got to ramen profitability in a matter of 6 months
The money from famewall allowed me to travel around the world & enjoy my lifestyle
But that resulted in me getting too comfortable & it resulted in famewall slowing down at $6k MRR
I have no regrets about the time I spent travelling & enjoying time with family
But I feel that growth is something which keeps you alive & excited to work
So now I am again starting from scratch as that clueless founder who has to figure things out to push past the MRR stagnation
And also figure out 0-1 journey with my new SaaS as well
I've been documenting my journey entirely on my substack with just 1 issue at the end of every month.
I'll be sending one tonight
